I love traveling and am getting ready for a trip to the Philippines! Whenever I travel, I like to make sure I have my must-havetravel essentialsbecause I need to make sure my in-flight experience is as comfortable as possible. Here are a few of my travel necessities for in-flight and my advice on what to pack for the Philippines.

What to Pack for the Philippines: My Travel Essentials

travel essentials

Lululemon Vinyasa Scarf:I always get cold on the plane, and sometimes even a hoodie won’t cut it. I love the vinyasa scarf because it’s super versatile and can be worn many ways. At the same time, it keeps me warm (not hot) on the plane without fussing with a blanket that usually ends up on the floor. It’s breathable and cozy.

J-Pillow Travel Pillow: From taking 4-hour to 10-hour flights, I swear by this pillow. It is so much more comfortable than ordinary neck pillows. I could be sitting in the middle row and this pillow still supports my neck. The pillow is also ultra hygienic; you can throw the entire pillow in the washing machine — not just the cover.

Matcha CollagenandCollagen PeptidesStick Packs: I drink Matcha Collagen all day every day, so the stick packs are perfect for when I'm traveling! The Collagen Peptides Stick Packs are particularly great to mix into coffee or oatmeal on-the-go.

Kiehl’s Cactus Flower & Tibetan Ginseng Hydrating Mist:The air is always dry on the plane, and this spray combats that with its cooling feel on my skin. It smells great, boasting notes of soothing lavender, geranium, and rosemary essential oils. You can spray it over makeup, too, for an extra refreshing effect.

Packing Cubes: These are a game changer! I tend to overpack but these packing cubes streamline packing (and unpacking) and compress what I’m bringing. They're a great way to separate clean from dirty laundry at the end of the trip, too.

Shower Sheets:When you’re on a 10-hour flight, these shower sheets really come in handy when you want to cleanse and refresh.

Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones:Falling asleep on the plane can be difficult sometimes but having wireless noise-canceling headphones are a life-saver. You won’t get all tangled up in the wires and will be able to snooze in peace. (Tip: be sure to pack an aux cord in case you want to plug in and watch the in-flight movie.)

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray: I hate styling my hair but this spray makes it easy. It’s a good alternative to dry shampoo, which doesn’t really work for me since I have black hair. This dry spray not only smells good, but also builds volume and texture while also absorbing oil.

Travel-Size Candle:Bringing a travel candle adds a nice touch to your hotel room. It helps to freshen up the place and makes it feel a little more like home.

Electric Adapter: Definitely necessary for international travel! It helps to ensure your devices stay charged without blowing a fuse when you’re charging your laptop or curling your hair.
