On top of the protein, this recipe calls for several good-for-you ingredients. The base of the smoothie is created with frozen strawberries, frozen raspberries and frozen cauliflower (which adds thickness). As for the cream — we didn't forget! Adding coconut yogurt to this already nutrient-packed smoothie adds a ton of probiotics, while making the texture extra creamy. (Hello, breakfast heaven!) Berries & Cream Smoothie
Yields 1 smoothie.
Ingredients:
- ½ C frozen strawberries
- ½ C frozen raspberries
- ¼ C frozen cauliflower
- ⅓ C coconut yogurt
- 1 scoop Vital Performance™ Strawberry Protein
- ½ C almond milk
Directions:
- Add the frozen strawberries, frozen raspberries, frozen cauliflower, coconut yogurt and ¼ C of almond milk to a blender.
- Blend the ingredients until broken down. Then add the remaining almond milk (gradually if you prefer it thicker) and the Vital Performance™ Strawberry Protein.
- Blend the ingredients again on high speed until completely smooth.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass, topping with extra yogurt, dairy-free whipped cream or your favorite granola and enjoy!
